How to convert WebP to JPG
- 1
Drop your WebP images into the box, or tap Choose files.
- 2
Pick a quality, and a background color if the images are transparent.
- 3
Download each JPG, or all of them as one ZIP.
Transparent WebP images
JPG can’t be transparent, so transparent areas are filled with white. You can choose black or any other color in Settings, or convert to PNG to keep the transparency.
Why images download as WebP
Websites use WebP because the files are small. Saving an image gives you a .webp file that some apps and upload forms reject. JPG is accepted everywhere.
About the formats
WebP is Google’s web image format. Browsers save images as WebP more and more often, but many editors, slide tools and older apps still can’t open it.
JPG (JPEG) is the most widely supported photo format. Every phone, browser, email client and upload form accepts it.
